Sorry mr bongo,

That looks like an issue with my directions, due to an issue with Multi Mod Manager and HBC using IOS58
I will be changing the directions as more apps are using IOS58

Download these files and unzip to your formatted SD - Files ...
I believe that you need to update your cIOS 249 to version 17 (at least)
And you don't have cIOS222 or 223 installed.

There are 2 ways to go just install cios249v17.wad with Multi Mod Manager
this should get most games to load via backup disc.

Download the ...
Q-Ball,

What you can do is try Priiloader .... and redo those hacks as the one in the download is a beta that supports the newer HBC.
V4 will still work OK it just won't be able to load HBC from priiloader.
Regards
Crack_it,

USB Loading is certainly the move forward, however you should still be able to get most games to play via backup disc.
What backups are you having issues with?
What Version are your cIOS's at? (222,223,249) syscheck .... ...
take it your on 4.2E, yeah?
not teaching you to suck eggs - but you saved the options?
I also have that option set and it works fine...
Just rename the bootmii folder to something else or copy it to your PC then remove it from your SD card.
Regards.
Hi there,
If you play out of region games via your modchip, then updating past 4.1 will disable that on your console.
Regards
I know it's slightly drifting from the original post,

you shouldnt need to soft mod at all, try installing the HBC first and if that fails for any reason maybe attempt softmodding.

But surely once you've installed the HBC you have softmodded your Wii?
I think the biggest advantage of 'softmodding' and why most people do it, is the ability to play multiple games of Hard Disk & doing away with having to burn backups.
My kids don't play them, however friends of mine that use CFG USB Loader go into the settings for that game and change the IOS to 223 instead of the default 222.
(requires cIOS223 to be installed already)

I take it theres's a simular option in GX.
Regards
Hope this helps :- Info ....
Regards
Do not update via Nintendo,
Follow the Guide in the sticky ....

Remembering to swop the 'private' folder for the bannerbomb v1 one in the alternative folder as the wii is on 3.4

Any issues just shout - ...
Stubbed IOS's shouldn't give you an issue, whats not working for you?
You can always run a syscheck .... and post the results.
Regards
You were lucky there with those deletions!!!
Glad it worked for you.cool2
Double Posted-Connection still not right. arrr
Sorry for the huge delay - But TalkTalk are *uckin' useless.
Couldn't connect to this site then, off & on, off & on. In the end I had to get another router.

Anyway if it's not to late for ya,

RegionChangerFiles .... ...
Off to work now but sort the files out for you tonight if thats ok.
I understand that what your saying, Can you re-Install the HBC now? So you can run homebrew apps
You will need to use Bannerbomb v1 if you can.
Regards
so can you get to the channels tab and install HBC?
