I have a 79 flashed with LT+1.1 and NFS:HP works fine with it, even online.
Maybe dodgy media/burn or a laser on the way out, as I've read AP2.5 games are laser intensive.

Been using Aones since they came out, still using em now with 3 boxes (Benq, Hitachi and Sammy) and all games work fine, including AP2.5 games.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but is this still being lent around as I need one to migrate from 20gb to a 120gb.

Have you extracted the games onto the hard drive?
What is your folder structure on the drive?

In FSD you can choose how "deep" the scan looks (how many folders), I think the default is 2, so you might need to up this depending how your folders are organised.

Think he meant the Windows version he saw on the NGs mate.

Good stuff, he must have the launch.ini on your internal (M$) hard drive using default fsd folder names.

Yep that'll work, but your gonna need xexmenu on cd to run it, unless he set it to boot straight to FSD (rather than the normal dash?)

As you can get in touch with him, he's the man to ask as he knows how he configured it in the first place, theres so many options/configs that achieve

Should be easy enough to do over the net mate - skype/msn etc.

Just burn a cd with xexmenu on it, boot that from the dash, then follow the guides for the various programs to to set them up (Freestyle, DashLaunch etc) however you want.
You can also run games off the HD just using

On a side note, I have sly so doesn't affect me, but I get a great signal on my built in freeview on my tv (LG 42LD450) until around 6pm, then I can't even get 1-5...then it comes back on again around 10-11pm.

Yes mate it does.
I don't have a Kinect but the games boot on my jtag and ask me to plug the sensor in.

Also just to add, if you have a el-cheapo (or expensive) 3.5" IDE caddy, you can plug a normal CD/DVD drive into it, and then that into the netbook and it'll work perfectly.

This is how I installed Windows on my Asus EeePC900 and then software off disk.

Make an iso of the disk, then mount it on the lappy with daemon tools and run like that?
