gnats knacker so be careful when you start 'waggling' it.

If you haven't got the tools,it's just a case of moveit a bit and see.I would leave the elevation alone though (for now).There is a signal strength meter built into the technomate (somewhere within the menu).Stick it on that.Oh and have a look at other dishes in the street.

It your dish is aligned to 28.2 east the you should have the channels on as per the original setup (i.e BBC1 BBC2 Itv etc etc).If you cannot see those free to air channels then I suggest the dish isn't pointing in the right place mate.
I set it up so it would be as easy as plugging in the RF ...

Sorted.Had to switched DHCP off on the Hub.Although it still says unconfirmed on the DM800HD when I do a test all the channels are now available!!!!

Yes my DM800hd does have a static IP . I have all my devices setup and running on 255.255.255.0.The acer revo works fine so I can't fathom it

I've unplugged the Netgear router now,along with the old virging modem,as stated in the setup guide.I now just have the Virgin media/netgear superhub with all my network connections plugged into that.
