I'll give them a bell, just thought I might be missing something as I'm not use to blackberry.

The phone is on the three network, it's brand new.
The sim was new too, so it needs to be activated. But the instructions say it activates when you insert it.

Yeah, I've done that mate, when I do it connects for about 10 seconds then it goes back to SOS.

I've brought my daughter a blackberry curve 9300 for Xmas, and I've got a prob with it.
I can't get it to connect to the network, it just says SOS where the connection signal should be.
I've normally quite good with phone stuff but this has got me stumped.
I've set the wi fi up ...
