I'm still waiting for an unlock since I'm on the latest modem fw. I assume its therefore not safe to update my iPhone 4 to 4.2 yet?

Ok silly question. I jailbroke my 3GS a while back and its on 4.0.1. I'm not too fussed about it being jailbroke anymore so can I just put this firmware straight on the phone without problems? Will it just remove all jailbroke apps etc?

Theres no set image to turn it in to a freeview box...

If the camera is important then the ip4 has a quality camera compared to the 3GS..

And the iPad camera IMO will only be useful for FaceTime, look a bit of a tool taking pics with it on a daily basis..

Just bought a iPad, but can see it not getting used alot as the ip4 ...

Using a cracked version of an app which phones home to the skyfire servers EVERY time you use it (it's how it works) is pure foolishness IMHO
