Few tips before purchase...

Google how far your local transmitter away from you, if it's a distance the likely hood of receiving all the channels will be minimal.

Try to get as close to the window as you can.

Have a look at other aerials on the other ...
Some tuners will hold out better than others with a with a weak signal.

If you can get to the dish, check the F's for any sign of water damage.

Seriously though two people have given you the right way of wiring it... if you don't know what your doing you shouldn't be given out bad advice...

Who is saying its split?

Aerial is connected to a wall plate yes?

You can force the Sky signal via RF2 to the upstairs RF out wallplates via the amp.... I have done it its ...

Twenty years I've been installing aerials and satellites and I've never seen a cable that will run aerial down then split, then back up...

No I understand the amp is in the attic....just plug the splitter into the RF outlet in the lounge.

You do need a splitter for the normal aerial connection to feed RF1 and for the RF2 output to feed the oulet in the lounge and therefore the amp in the attic and distributing it to all ...
OK I'll try again.

Assuming hes using his rooftop aerial now as he has Sky...you insert a splitter into the outlet from the distribution box in the lounge...one goes to RF 1 allowing him to watch terrestrial tv via the loopthrough.

Then the 2nd outlet goes into RF2 on the ...
No just connect an aerial lead from RF2 out to the lounge connection...check the RF channel..eg 67.

Tune your upstairs TVs to this and the Sky box will feed the TVs via the distribution box he already has....this will work I know Ive done it.

To connect back through the loft for viewing in other rooms you will need a return cable taking back up to the loft.

One down for the aerial feed, then one return back up to the loft to feed the aerial + the Sky RF through to the other points.

What cable did u use as I only have the standard SE usb cable? That isn't listed?

Sorry my gaff, It was a k510 that I was trying to unlock!

I just used the standard cable that came with the phone, did my T715 with no probs.
It's on 1w FTA - 11508v symbol rate 6666
Tested and working...

Make sure you register and follow the server details...
