Whats the story with replacement lasers got couple consoles needing lasers,i see ones on ebay for £30 new ,i got one before for a lad came in a box made in china ,but it was clearly not new as it had scratches on it although its still going. what are they doing repotting old ones and selling them ...

maybe your running the ofw 639 whats it say in system info mine says 639me3

not sure about crashing when playing games that might be a different problem m8. this issue i had was the games would not even start. you need to update to atleast cfw 5.50 in order to run the above cfw

sounds like u need to update it m8,i am running CFW 639me3

download this and also the official 639 firmware.

rename the official firmware from eboot.pbp to 639.pbp

then rename the CFW to eboot.pbp if not already named this.

copy both ...

@chiz you wont be using this dash update on a jtag m8 just the firmware

might also be a dodgy laser...i got unrecognised disk on liteon that was LT+, this error on known good disks of black ops and assassins creed until i replaced the laser they games work flawlessly now.

i get most of mine from cash generators/convertors they always got returns lying around in bach stores mostly rrod,but sometimes only disk read errors as they been sitting a while they not updates.dont tell em wot ur doin with them though.incase they bump the price up.usually offer about £10 ...

i sure the nand holds the cpu key etc so in order for u to put it in another board u would also need that boards cpu key etc(might be incorrect but i remember reading it like that or similar)i done a few jtags and every time i had an issue it was always a bad solder point even after i ruled them ...

Its a stupid system having to pay more for less services then they discount new customers if you take all three. i always tried to hammer home to the managers that if your force a customer into taking services they dont need or want and give them it cheaper then in the long run it means more ...
