I'm not paying an extra tenner on top of what I'm already paying for 50 meg as I can d'load a 360 iso for example in under 25 mins anyway ! I thought that this would be a free upgrade for 50 meg users but obviously not. It's possibly worth it if you do a lot of uploading I suppose

Older ones especially the 40 gig ones are more prone to YLOD ! I'd get a slim myself as it is a Sexy bit of kit compared to the Phat !

He does say he has run it through ABGX though, which would patch it, as long as its the very latest version (v1.0.5).

Y I read that but he could be using an old version of ABGX or not using it with the correct settings to patch correctly. It is normally the simple things that catch us

One thing you haven't told us is what game you are trying to play from backup. It sounds to me like you are trying to play an AP 2.5 game but you haven't patched it. The Hitatchi will play anything patched or not. Hope I'm right as it will save you a few quid !

I wouldn't risk a jtag online bud, they'll see the mods in seconds, your better buying a second cheap box and using it instead

Can you use a Jtag online ? I have the latest freeboot/dash and want to go online with normal games burnt to disc using a profile that has not had any d'loaded DLC played on it. Is this possible or can MS detect the Jtag modifications ?

OK the guy has used a disc called Spot Mau Recovery suite. It worked but seems to have reset all his passwords as well as his Windows boot one which is not a problem !

He has checked to see if Caps Lock was on which is what you should obviously try first. What is the easiest way to bypass and reset the password. ...

Funny how these reports weren't reported within days/weeks of Kinect's launch. We all know that older 360's are very prone to fuck up anyway so this sounds like a bit of news out of nothing tbh !
