The ability to slow things down would be better than complete stopping of things, less likly to get caught especially if you move in to a new house and start it all off from when you move in.

cutting the seals (tags) is one way to get the fraud boys round

Also any signs of burn marks will get them round

plus if you stop purchasing (due to bypass) then you will show on the non purchase report and invoke investigation
