So I have to play through it all once on normal before I unlock nightmare? That's just pointless as i'll have been bored to tears by the end of it at normal to even want to play it again

I've still not played it out of beta yet. Got it installed, just been preoccupied by League of Legends atm, and waiting for a couple of mates to get D3 so i can jump in with them, don't know why, just in no rush to play it any more.

More zombies is always good news in my book, never really been arsed about any other aspect of any of the CoD games.

well I've finally got to play, i've got more or less same gpu (560 ti) as you, but on an i7, 16GB RAM, 1900x1200 and can't say i'm having any performance issues. I'm getting lots of lag, but that's to be expected, but performance is fine on max detail for me?
