right click on the folder you want to share goto properties then sharing share that folder then goto security tab then click edit then add button type everyone in the big white box then check name it will the be underlined click ok then u will see the user everyone click on the tick box that says ...

in the end i used windows easy transfer then backed up the profiles that way. Removed the systems off the domain and then created new account and windows easy transfer to finish probably an easier way but that is what worked for me

I want to take all of my systems off the local domain to a workgroup all the systems run windows 7 ultimate. I need them to keep all of the user settings and email settings including pst files etc how do i do this what is my best approach.

check out tonymac86 i used their boot loader it was for a gigabyte but they have all the dsdt.aml files there for a lot of motherboard and hardware combos if you need a hand or advise i have myself just built a hackintosh and i suffered with it but in the end it turned out better than i thought so ...
