It has custom firmware installed, it's designed to load games from a MSduo card. Probably the fact that it wasn't reading UMD's led to the custom firmware being installed.

Is this released on PSN yet? I thought only in the US..

Anyone know what the differences are in UPDL/ULUS/ULUX/UCET tags? All is for pre-production or test samples? Would love to hear some thoughts too!
