I'd agree with the above however I weaned my 11 year old off my back-up PC a year or so ago and onto a PS3 which was a masterstroke as I now dont have to maintain a 2nd PC as the console is just a plug and play device which means no config set ups , no driver updates, no gfx card upgrades etc ...

The Tribes site is now taking registrations for their MMOFPS game currently in development. No harm in signing up if you are interested in play testing this type of game.

Been in beta since Christmas. Its not worth the monthly subscription amount when the game launches as its basically a 3rd person shooter played on a couple of FPS maps. It's not an MMO in the true sense and the maps are not living breathing worlds. Not a bad game but aside from the customisation ...

Battlefield bad Company 2 is the next best FPS multiplayer game worth looking at. The battlefield series has always been great and this one looks awesome. The only catch is its only out in March although theres early news of a possble beta for PC in December.

they might release a server browser for the current system, which would be marginally better, but i doubt they will take notice of the petition even though itś over 120,000 signatures last time i checked.

I think anyone running a 32 bit operating system may have missed the last wave of acceptances. Invites appeared to go out to people running Vista 64 or Windows 7 speaking to peeps who I know who are in /currently out. Is anyone on here who is in beta currently running 32 bit Vista ?

APB was showcased at E3 in June and is due for a Spring 2010 release . Earthrise has been closed to beta registrations since April but no news yet of when beta will start . Will stick a note on here when there's news.

Yeah i'm a bit worried all the Bio ware story crap will detract from a great PvP endgame. Well its been in development since 2006 and I've just got a feeling that this may launch around october time ( when all the big releases launch). All the vids and media so far show quite a polished game ...

This game is the business with a group of 4 mates on comms . We play on the PC and versus mode on the new versus map Dead Air is our current favourite . The only issue with the game is the number of quitters who quit whilst getting farmed . Valve should sort the lobby system out to cater for groups

I agree the console option is far more convenient but for me the PC rules if you know how to set one up. Graphically they blow the consoles out and personally I cant play a FPS without my keyboard and mouse Plus I cant multi task while gaming , surfing the net , irc , or whatever . Voice

Anyone made it to the Hall of Heroes yet ? We've made it through a couple of rounds in the tombs but players numbers are a bit of a problem guildwise & its very hard to recruit.

The game is absolutely superb. Been concentrating on PvE questing and journeys over the last week and theres huge content and the balance is excellent. Nice1 , I didnt take to EQ2 because it just seemed another grind. ( Got to about lvl18 ). Galaxies was far better than EQ2 for the interface/trade/all round gameplay but the PvE content and PvP inbalance let it down.
