Right, got it sorted, appears the laser in both drives I tried were dead. Replaced with another and works a treat now.

All are OK on the new dash now. J-Runner even downloaded and made the new dash image for me after selecting it from the drop down menu, so that's not the issue here.

Currently on 14719, latest dash. Was on 12416 before doing the RGH. Updated to 14719 during the hack (used JRunner) and wrote the updated NAND with my NAND-X opposed to using rawflash.

Changed that as well, forgot to mention that, also changed the power cable, still a no go.

Hoping someone can help with this. Got a phat 360 here that I RGH'd, before doing the RGH the drive just kept saying "Play DVD", so I assumed it just had the incorrect drive key.

Went through with it all and JRunner confirmed it should be a BenQ drive (which it was), etc. ...

Any good mate?

I had this issue with a BB Jasper, first off make sure your games are 4 folders down or more (this is what solved our issue).

So for example D:\XBOX360\000000000\0000000000\Game Folder

Then have the GOD image within the Game Folder.

Just completed this, really good game. Did not expect as much from EA, I find they tend to disappoint, not so on this occasion. Ending is weak though, could have been a lot better.

If it works fine on your monitor with HDMI then the actual 360 & HDMI port must be ok, almost as if it's outputting in a setting not supported by the TV's. Can you connect both HDMI & component to the console/TV, then try and adjust the HDMI settings to something compatible with your TV? Or

Oh, that's not right mate. I thought that all the update seemed to do was upgrade the CB. Not heard any reports of what you've said, but not having a 14717 console here I can't say for myself.

Have you tried chanign the settings to 480p then returning back to 1080p to see if that kicks

In that case you have 3 choices pay MS to repair it, pay someone else to look at it or try and fix it yourself. However from a bit of reading around error E82 is a GPU issue and a reflow or reball seems to fix it.

Manufacture date isn't what they go by, it's the date it was sold. How long ago was it bought? To be honest though, why not just register the console on the XBOX website and setup a repair online. If it's no longer covered under warranty it will say so.

I know you can setup dash launch to block updates and what-not, but I'm thinking more along the lines of if someone just sends me a console to RGH with no HDD and they go and setup FSD and dash launch but don't configure it to block updates then they can still accidentally update and change the CB ...
