aye? make sure the file isn't set to read only mate. That's the only thing I can think of which will stop you saving it, oh unless you tried to open it before editing the file

..or trying to edit within the zip/rar

I open the file in notepad and get this

I change the 'Width' to 800 then exit. It asks if I want to save which I do then it says the file has been changed and do I want to 'update archive with file', which I then click 'Yes' and it says "RAR archives not supported". I have also looked at the properties of the file and can't find how to make it a non read only file!

Now I am not too bothered about the game on my laptop here but this is a little challenge now and I am just interested in how to solve it!!

dude, are you trying to change the file directly in the RAR file? you need to extract it somewhere then change it!

That's why it's saying you can't save the changes, when you do that, right click the config file then properties and make sure read only is not ticked

Thanks mate. I copied the file to my desktop, edited it to 800 then saved it. Then I extracted the whole thing to my desktop and there copied the file into the game and saved it. As soon as I done that the cursor/icon for the game changed to a bird. Double clicked on the game and it works! Looks good and plays really well here on my laptop actually! was expecting it to be laggy and stuff but it is working really nice.

Works fine on my laptop 4 gig running windows 7 32 bit and also on my gaming asus 6 gig 64 bit running 7 from the original posters url. So iam guessing its a driver issue on some machines

Well ive done everything everyone has said and im still getting the cunting same error resolution bollocksissed:

It wouldnt work on my pc at work. It kept saying about the resolution. I updated the graphic drivers and that cured the problem

1280 x 1024 weird doesn't like it at all
Installed it again now its saying the app wrapper dll thing grrr give up.......
sorted updated my graphics drivers

green's leave it at 800 x 600 and see how it goes, copy the app wrapper dll to system 32 see if that makes a difference mate
