3DS Official date and more announced at Nintendo's Press Conference in Japan!

i saw an earlier demo of the 3d and was not impressed, i dunno what it is as i usually love nintendo stuff. had all the consoles since nes but this just has not got me interested. might be different when i see it in hand tho i dont know

You say you saw a demo of it but was not impressed but at the end say if you see it in hand you might change your mind? Well have you seen it in the flesh or not? You're a very hard man to please! :P

guess its hard to understand but let me explain m8, i saw an online demo - well in fact 2 which did not show off the 3d capabilities very well. and from the online DEMO's i saw it looked similar to the old super ario 64.

and if you read into my wording above youll notice i said if i had it in hand to see it in action properly then i might change my mind.

i thought i would trawl the net tonight to see if there was any better demo's than what ive seen so far and i came across this:

Mate that's the DSI not the 3DS. Can remember seeing that game though and it's not 3d, it just uses trickery to look like it is. Your not going to be able to see the 3d effect from a video. The only way to see the 3d is in person holding the thing, people that have used it have noted how impressive it is.

weird, ran a search for 3ds games and that was one of the first vids. if prices are right i would gladly buy my son one. im not sure what mario would look like in proper 3d? i was never a fan of mario 64 and think that the new super mario bros was excellent. if they did something like that again id prolly buy one just for the game (like i did with the wii)
