Sony Ericson Unlocker (FREE)

Wonder what's the difference between the k510 and the k610 as I can't seem to be able to get the 510 unlocked by any method unless I have different equipment?

i used the lead that came with my girls w595 on a win7 laptop.just followed the instructions and all went well

The 510 is coming up with connection using a cruiser cable whereas the 610 uses the normal cable you would get supplied with the phone. Oh well

Just managed to get somewhere but when it does the unlock it communicates with the server and comes back with NO NEWS & credit 0.00 so I take it the free unlock period is now over?


Free period is still ongoing and I have managed to unlock my other phone k550i

just tried to unlock my k550i
now its dead wont power up
any help would be great

The exact same thing happened to me, no life in the phone, no power, charge etc.

About half an hour ago I read through some posts on the forum and found out that some people where doing a combination of C+2+5 which allowed Omnius to once again recognise the phone and then the combination 2+5 when it asks. This is what I done and now from a bricked 550i I now have a fully working UNLOCKED 550i

Just tried unlocking my sister W910i on three network with this but I get to the point where im supposed to hold down 2&5 and then plug in the cable and what happens is I get the noise that my PC makes when you connect a USB device but im gettin the noise that signals that it didnt connect as in there are no drivers for the device or something on my PC. Now I have installed the drivers when I 1st plugged the phone into the PC and they all installed correctly. I also went and installed the Sony Ericsson connection software from their website thinking this might install some correct drivers for me but its still the same. Anyone got any ideas at all to help me out at all as its starting to do my head in a bit!

Have a look on the forms, when you start the app up there's a link on the top right.

If i remember rightly people got it going by trying different combinations of holding different keys down.

yeah i did read em mate it mentions holding down the "C" key aswell but i think this was if your phone was bricked and wouldnt come on at all.

guys struggling to unlock my wifes w595 which is on Virgin and out of contract end of this month, I have read it is not possible to unlock, anyone got any ideas?

I am not too sure if this free unlocker can do it, but I do know that SeTool can definatly unlock via flash patching and permanantly by server and credits.

Unfortunatly this isnt free though.

I don't mind paying to be honest as she likes the phone, I tried omnius and the instructions but like Lighty fell foul when the key combos didn't work..so I wondered if anyone else had managed it, the reason I said I didn't think it was possible on Virgin as when I put make and provider in alot of these "pay for unlock" sites they say not possible????

It is possible to get these done as they are DB3150, the same platform as the c702 and c902.. I do know this as I can do a full unlock on them without the need for flash patching.

ok thanks mate, so looking at the SE site I can download all files in the gdfs folder is a file pertaining to w595 is it a matter of downloading all files and running the software program? Sorry for all the questions, not done this before and the info on the site is slightly confusing, if you can tell me what files I need I'll download and give it a go.
