Can we have a "who's looking at this thread" list too? I'm a nosy fucker and like to know these things. I've seen it on a few other forums where it lists the current viewers either at the top or bottom of the thread.

You can set it but it's server intensive so not set

Thanks, not just for the re-write but for the 10 years. can't believe it's been so long. You've been through a lot to bring us this site and we appreciate it

One thing I would like to be able to do is set my "read posts" time back to an earlier date/time. The reason for this is sometimes I will be catching up on DF & someone comes round (or I'm at work) and I can't finish reading up all of the new posts, then when I come back the new posts will only date back to the previous time I was reading DF. Hope that sounds reasonable.

One thing that i think has come to light in this thread .... is that you do not get any DF dollars for saying thanks, can you add something for that or make is so that if you do add rep (which does pay) it does it visually.

I seem to remember something like this from the dim and distant.

DF is 10 this October and to mark this milestone I have decided to allocate some time in my schedule to sit down and do a complete overhaul of DF and its code.

Naturally this will also include moving to vBulletin v4.04+

Ive just had a quick scan of the sites back end and it amazed me how much defunkt code is still in play (or not in a lot of cases) and it gives me goosebumps just thinking about how much work is gonna be involved.

First rule is to try not to break the site - cus i gotta tell you its HUGE. The database alone runs in to gigabytes of storage.

Anyway, i figured i'd give you a heads up, but the main reason is that I would also like to know what you want me to do to DF. Are there certain features that you don't like or that you wish we had ? Are there issues you are having with the site that bug you or features that you would like enhancing.

It gonna happen in the next 4-8 weeks so I really need all of your input.
