Some of the questions being asked on here really should not need to be asked let alone responded to. if people just tried reading a little then questions would just be sensable ones.
If you really don't know whats meant by MAC address etc. then you really need to read up or not get into all this in the first place.

Hell there is one thing being a novice and another being clueless. lol

welcome to the interweb...

Does anyone have a list of areas that are encrypted?

Also, if you require a base MAC then I assume this needs to be from a different ubr than yourself meaning you do, infact, need to trade MAC's?arf

So, you have never asked a question before - even though libraries, encyclopedia, and the internet would have the answer if you knew where to look?

When I qualified in my profession, I was told that the art of a professional was not knowing the answer, but knowing who to ask.

I'm sure there a fields in which I am interested and proficient where I could be sarcastic if you ever asked a question in that field - but I wouldn't because we all have to learn sometime.

Remeber the title of this section of D-F? It is Trade All Your Mac's Here - we'll overlook the unnecessary greengrocer's apostrophe. Notice the captalisation of the word Mac? It is Mac, not MAC. Now MAC is an acronym for Media Access Control and acronyms are commonly in capital letters.

To me, a Mac is an Apple computer and I was originally attracted to this thread because I have three Macs and am interested in any market trading them. Having realised that the thread wasn't about Macs. but MACs, i started to read it and quite frankly I have no idea what you are all talking about.

Why would anyone want to "trade" them? What benefit could there be? Piggybacking? Hacking? I've no idea.

So, I took the natural and human step of asking for enlightenment.

I'm sorry that you feel unable to share your own wisdom in this field and perhaps allow others, less skilled, to enjoy their computing more widely.

But life's too short to fall out, just don't ever become a teacher. sarcastic
