Question for ya here lads - have you had any joy trying to use another area's services.xml in your area, or is this even worth attempting in your opinion? :nowords:


Was gonna try the nearest services.xml to my area, as I don't really know how to set up from a scan.

No.. Do a scan yourself for your own area.. Some channels may work.. but I doubt you will nail the waves..

Here m8, that is an old service.xml I posted ages ago...There will be a few channels missing from that too.Perform a scan m8 and that wil give you the latest update.Then you can up it to here if you like

i tried to add that xml m8 but i guess i didnt do it right nothing work after i put it on luckily i backed everything up eh :thumbs how do i use the service.xml ? were do i put it?

heres a few from my local area, when i suss my box out again ill post my services file for preston, but the wigan 1 seems to work anyway for my area :thumbs

I have installed the chorley services.xml and bouqets.xml (posted by gingertosser above) on my dbox2, nearly all the chans work except for ITV1, ITV2, ITV3, Chan4, Chan5 and E4. I also tried the new wigan codes (posted by gingertosser above) but i got nothing - not 1 single channel, anyone got any idea why these chans dont work in my area? or got a updated chorley services.xml and bouqets.xml please?
