Car's in the garage next week getting the cam belt done. It's a Mondeo TD.
I've been told that while they're tinkering away down there they may as well do the fuel pump belt as well cos if it goes it could affect the cam belt. Does this sound about right? Surely the only problem would be ...

I've got a '99 Mondeo TD. 60K miles, serviced regularly, just had 60K major service. Over the past couple of days it's been a bit of a dog to start in the morning.

Could be exhaust related. I had a Vectra that ticked like it could be tappets or something, but it ended being the exhaust manifold gasket that had failed. Vauxhall wanted 120 quid, my regular garage bloke did it for 20!

Sounds very similar to the Corsa's. I had a 1.2 Corsa, and if you were stood with the engine running for more than five minutes, the temp would go up and the fan would kick in. Just got rid of a 2.0 Vectra and that was the same.

Don't know how good they are, I just saw thier van driving round the other night and it stuck in my head. Only problem is they are based in Warrington, but they may be able to reccomend someone in your area.

Help! Does anyone out there have the disk for this external burner that I could borrow?
Have had to do a reformat and I can't find the CD that came with it. The Sony web site is absolutely pants for stuff like this.
I can find drivers for everything but Win 98 , which is what I need. ...
