Any decent phone unlock store should be able to do the BB5 range now.

The cost is a different matter as these stores will charge more.

If you live near Manchester then there are places that can do them for as little as ?5 now. They use the DM3 unlocking clip.

You cannot unlock the Pearl without paying.

Depending on the network there are a few options.

1/ Remote unlocking. This is done by someone connecting to your PC.
2/ Codes. This depends on the network. I would guess it is either o2 or AT & T.
3/ The DM3 ...

If you use offshore hosting that take no notice of complaints you will be fine. The Netherlands is a decent place to host them.

The unlock process is only a flash patch unlock. So id the handset is flashed again it will need unlocking again.

You can get a code from this place for ?14.99 and it will unlock it fully.
