I was under the impression that AP25 was going to kill banned XBoxes as they are stopping peeps from using backups offline too...?!

So what happens when my drive fails then? Am I completely screwed? I was always under the impression they could be replaced so long as you had the Drive Key - is this new information since AP25. Once your drive goes, your XBox is bin fodder?

I have an Elite with a Benq running v1.61 which is struggling with AP.25
I also have an old Premium (non-HDMI) with a Hitachi running v1.51 which ignores AP.25.

I have both keys for both drives.
If I was to swap the keys over, could I get away with putting the Hitachi drive
