there is software out there that will unlock this model most local unlock shops will do this for you

you cant as its illegal to change imei (5 year term)


what might have happened is that someone somewhere has cloned the ImeI from your phone and when it has register with the networks the system spots the 2 ImeI and they both end up getting barred

yes it can m8 there is many a tool that support this

normal when this shows on sony ericsson I can mean 1 of 2 things

if the phone is unlocked it means the phone has been banned from the the networks (blacklisted)

or you have an old sim that has been scrubbed for not being used

some of the turbo, xsims, rebel sims dont work well with the 6500 as i have tried many they seem to work well on every network but o2 for some reason but work brilliant in most other phones

this is just speaking from my experience

If you know anyone that uses JAF they can unlock this

as the price of older BB5 phone unlocking has dropped
