I have a Hitachi 79 that still works great. Just patch to Wave 3 and it works.

Most Hitachi 79 do not understand AP25 - hence no real update since iXtreme 1.5.

Now in the hands of the testers! Not long now.

Is it worth me updating my firmware on my drive to 'LiteOn iXtreme LTv1.1'?

The idea is to use the Hitachi Drive in and XBox that originally came with a Benq. So I would be using the Benq's Drivekey on the Hitachi Drive.

Elite looks for it's Key and finds it in the Hitachi Drive - Works? Or not? Does it know that it's not a Benq? Even though ...
