Well last night it was 3RL (0020) every time I had the hard drive attached - it was trying to boot xexmenu from the launch.ini but failing. Was fine with the HD off so knew it wasn't soldering / genuine 3RL.

Anyway, formatted the official hd from nxe, recopied everything over and now ...

I think it's time for bed, I'm making things worse lol!

Ok cheers guys gonna try iso2god and pointing dashlaunch to that, will report back.

Hmm dunno what happened but now xexmenu doesn't boot, goes to black screen, signs me in then powers off the xbox.

Also xellous now doesn't recognise my ...

Sorry to bump this thread, but I have the same issue so didn't want to start a new one.

I jtagged my box last night, got it all working on 12611 dash, did the official update to get avatars working, all great.

Installed dashlaunch 2.07, which boots to xexmenu by default ...

For solo play I prefer Guitar Hero as the Expert modes are hard unlike Rock Band (imo)
If you have a house full of people, I prefer Rock Band 1/2/3 as the song library and content are more well known and more fun to play.

I watched a video review of the MJ game on the Wii, they said it was shit cos it only tracks your hand (wiimote) and there is a lot of slower songs...and that it would be much better on Kinect where it tracks your whole body.
