I think you can but you can only render 30 second clips

It's supposed to be so you can look around the car (left and right etc) for when racing to make sure you aint gonna hit anyone :P

Yes lets you look around while in cockpit view. Not too sure how well it will work as of course if you look left you won't be lookin at the tv anymore ...

Not sure why people don't like it, I think its a brilliant game. Treyarch are bringing server side updates out daily, lots have been fixed since the day of release and they're continuing to fix problems. Glitches in maps were fixed within a day or 2.

I reckon that's the video. Noone who has played the game has reported graphical glitches or screen tearing.
