if any work has to be undertaken on a fuse board then the main fuse needs removing as a safety measure. so the metal cable that secures it in place needs cutting. if anyone was ever to ask (not that they do) all you have to say is you were having some work done

Rigged a meter in an old flat like that. Was for pirate radio so the electricity people were the least of the worries!
