Mines WBFS and works a treat. You can use Fat32, but I'm sure it needs a wbfs folder on it with the games in.

Most older Hitachi drives cannot read AP2.5 hence the reason they load. Your Hitachi drive should still be on iXtreme v1.51 as it's still the latest version for them.

The problems people are having is if they are upgrading from LT and not iXtreme, which as you have pointed out, is a piece of piss to do ! Deffo both your 360's were on iXtreme firmware and no 2 ways about it !
