OK, I`ve re-ripped Munchs Odysee - files totalling 696mb are on my HD.

I burn this to a CD, it doesn`t work.

I FTP this back to my XBox, run it from the HD and the game works fine...I started a new game, and also loaded and played my gf`s game and she is on about level ...
By default it`s set to xbox/xbox in the EvoX Install, so to leave it blank would have caused an error when logging in...
Hi mate,

Glad to be of service :)

ICQ# 74183404
In simple terms:

PC NIC STATIC IP -: 192.168.0.1

XBOX NIC STATIC IP -: 192.168.0.2
XBOX NIC DEFAULT GATEWAY -: 192.168.0.1

Once its reporting correct under EvoX (the blue area at the top of the network settings screen) you can use an FTP client. ...
No problems mate...

Well, you need to set the XBox IP address in the same range as your network card in your PC.

So if your PC NIC is 192.168.0.1

Then in evox.ini:

IP = 192.168.0.2
Default Gateway=192.168.0.1

You have set a ...
You need to edit the "evox.ini" file before you burn the CDR.

Set it to StaticIP = Yes and then set the IP to whatver you want, as long as its suitable for your network.

Then reburn and it shoudl be fine.

Hope that helps.
4Gb !?!?

Hmmm, maybe somethign went wrong somewhere along the line then, but I grabbed ALL the files from the DVD....

What about CDR in general...I noticed another thread saying there is an app to automatically downsample sound and movies...

Has anyoen got ...
I ripped Munchs Odysee to my PC using EvoX, and noticed that the game is only 650Mb (ish) big.

Hmm, I thought - this could fit on a CDR!

So I created the ISO using xIso and burnt in Nero @ 8x, the same speed I burnt my workign EvoX CDR`s at.

Now the game ...
Thats a good tip to save a few quid, but it`ll also be slower than NIC -> NIC connection....and in my experience speed is important when transferring files to/from xbox..especially DVD`s.
I`ve had mine a good few years now mate, about 3yrs in total, and I know people that had them about 3yrs before I got mine!

You should be able to find them if you stick an ad in Loot, or your local paper or summat, or just search around the net.
I have NTL Broadband and a chipped analogue box runnign fine off my feed.

I also have an NTL Digital box with a card which was used on my old account.

When I connect it all I get is a black screen - any ideas why ?

Does anyone know of any free webspace anywhere that I could use to play around with PHP and MySQL ?

Maybe its a lot to ask, but thought I would anyway.

I have a linux box in the loft that I could use, but thought I`d ask first to save me setting it all up on the network ...
I had trouble with not being able to connect when I first tried.

It turned out to be that I had to move my NIC into another PCI slot...then it was all fine, just do them 1 at a time, then if something goes wrong you know which step to take a look at.

Hope that ...
I have my XBox hooked up to my PC fine using 2 NICs in the PC.

I have 1 set to DHCP which is my NTL broadband connection, the other NIC is set as a static IP of 192.168.0.1 and this goes to the Xbox.

The XBox is set to have a static IP of 192.168.0.2, and to use ...
