Seems strange, that never happened to me. I would probably start again... but you can try this -

vi /etc/passwd

And change the line -

root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash

to

root::0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash

HTC Touch HD (Blackstone) has been ported.

Need to use the Haret Android install, but apparently, it works.

Shall be trying this tonight!! Whoop!
I might give this a crack tomorrow following DejaVu's guide. Where does this fit into the guide?

It doesnt. It's an automated way of doing the lot. But I found it was out dated and a pain in the arse!

Great when first available. But's I think it's knackered now. Read ...
you can save a ton of time using the XCI script to install XBMC and relevant drivers and other common set-ups

sudo wget ....

Think hes referring to using the Windows PC to Putty over apps to the Revo! ;)
Personally, I do. It's easier. But you can use the XBMC Terminal if you want to make life a little more difficult!

CTRL-ALT-F2 to access it from XBMC.
HaHa, Google's new feature is a (S)Hit! :)
I'm gonna do my Revo again following your guide, get ready for lots of questions as I fuck it all up!
I reckon you should be fine. I've drafted up EVERYTHING I done, so should be OK.
I noticed this.

It automatically searches for stuff as your typing your search criteria.
Change the 'Instant is on' to off.

I would turn it off. It's probably mucking up your PC. Try installing Google Chrome.
I should think it wouldnt do it in that. ...
Updated.
Added Google Chrome install.
Configure XBMC to run the perfect resolution for your TV (1080i, 1080p, 720p, 24p, 50Hz, 60Hz etc). Most trust the original settings XBMC has available. This is not good practice. You screen CAN look better!
Added 'Unoffical Repo ...
XBMC is a possibility. But give - www.android-x86.org a go...

Not sure if it's available properly, might still be beta.
I didnt think this worked because of the 32GB Fat32 Limit in Windows - or does Command Line ignore that? Prezzy's way was the way I always did it! :)
This is a fully inclusive guide on getting your Revo (wiped!) and using XBMC as a standalone Linux system for your HTPC. I apolgise if it looks large and long winded - it's not, I just like to explain stuff! :)

Google Chromuim and Transmission both work as Linux Command Line installations and you can load them up from within XBMC.

That's what I have done. I'm going to start documenting what I did to get my install perfect in a minute! :)
Post up your template HTML and we'll have a proper look. :)
Reflowing is purely just heating the board while protecting the 'melt-ables' with foil isn't it?

I have no problem giving that a go too - seeing as they are fecked anyway! :)
