My IP address never changes. Unless I swap modems!

I got 4 Infinite 5101E's at the moment. Used them with WinGate. Mind you, each modem is always assigned the same IP address no matter what I try to do.

I thought ALL Cable modem's where assigned fixed IP's ...

The ISP DOESNT assign you a MAC address. They assign you an IP address.

You must get your own MAC address using DCHPForce from a UBR in your area and not on the same UBR as you!

DHCP just allocates you an IP Address once your online.
MAC Addresses distinguish modems on the UBR.

If you put 2 MAC address registers on the same UBR, you create a conflict.
If you use a unique MAC address on a UBR, DHCP then assigns you an IP ...

If you change your MAC. Your IP changes.

Use another MAC address and you'll get a new IP address.

I might be ordering another one soon, purely cos all the numbers and symbols have rubbed off mine. I do like the look of the premiere one.

That's exactly what you do.

Some images come without the ability to decode premium channels (covering their arse's). CAM's, Keys and uCodes make this possible and are the same on all images for your area.

Keys only need to be decoded ...
